1. Agreement to the terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the RIPTIDE website and any orders placed through it. By accessing the store or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms and our posted policies. Any mandatory legal rights that apply to you remain unaffected.
2. Customer eligibility
Purchasers must be at least 21 years of age, legally able to enter a binding transaction, and permitted to acquire the relevant products in their jurisdiction. We may request reasonable confirmation of eligibility and decline an order that cannot lawfully be fulfilled.
3. Research use only
Products expressly designated for research use only (RUO) are supplied exclusively for lawful laboratory and analytical research by appropriately qualified purchasers. Such products are not for human or animal consumption; they are not medicines, food, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or products intended for diagnosis, prevention, mitigation, or treatment of any disease. They must not be administered, compounded for administration, or represented for clinical use. Product specifications, labeling, and applicable law govern their permitted use.
4. Product information
We aim to describe products and available documentation accurately. Photographs are illustrative and packaging may vary. Any analytical documents provided relate to the identified batch or lot and should not be construed as regulatory approval or a guarantee of suitability for a particular purpose.
5. Orders, prices, and payment
Product prices and availability are displayed at the time of purchase; applicable taxes and shipping fees appear during checkout. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or dispatch, subject to local law. We may contact customers to resolve pricing mistakes, payment issues, address errors, suspected fraud, or legal restrictions and may cancel and refund orders where justified.
6. Shipping and risk
Available delivery methods, shipping charges, and estimated arrival information are presented at checkout where available. Processing, delivery, and claims are also governed by our Shipping Policy. Any transfer of risk or responsibility is subject to mandatory consumer-protection law.
7. Returns and refunds
Return requests, damaged shipments, and approved refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy and any non-excludable statutory rights.

You must not use the site for illegal purposes, submit deceptive orders or information, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, harvest personal data, or infringe intellectual-property rights. We may restrict abusive activity to protect the service and our customers.

10. Warranties and responsibility
Except as required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing, we do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability or that RUO materials are fit for a particular research application. No limitation in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
11. Changes and disputes
We may amend these terms from time to time. The terms applicable to an accepted order are those in effect when that order was placed, unless a mandatory law provides otherwise. Disputes will be addressed under the applicable laws and mandatory jurisdiction rules.
